In this test, the staff of the City Consumers Association randomly purchased 53 models of E27 lampholders manufactured and distributed by 33 companies in the Beijing lighting market and supermarkets. Each model purchased 12 lamps and 636 energy-saving lamps.

More than 20% of energy-saving lamps are not energy-saving

According to experts, "initial light efficiency" is an important indicator reflecting whether energy-saving lamps have energy-saving effects. Failure to comply with the national standard will directly lead to energy-saving lamps failing to achieve energy-saving effects. In this test, there were 13 samples whose initial light efficiency did not meet the standard, accounting for 24.53%. According to the comparison between the express value of the company and the measured value, it was found that when the express energy efficiency level was reached, 155 of the 636 energy-saving lamps in the 53 samples failed to reach the explicit value.

70% of the power does not match the actual measurement

The measured power of the 72.17% energy-saving lamp sample is not consistent with the value of the product, and some products have large deviations, including even some well-known brand products. For example, Philips brand 5W energy-saving lamps actually measure 12 energy-saving lamps with power exceeding 6W; "Yuanyuan" brand 18W energy-saving lamps have measured power from 9.8W to 11.0W, with a deviation of 38.9% to 45.6%; "Ziyue Lighting" brand 18W Energy-saving lamps, measured power from 8.7W to 9.8W, the deviation is 45.6% to 51.7%.

Energy saving lamp market entry threshold low

The relevant person in charge of the City Consumers Association pointed out that there are five main reasons for the low pass rate of energy-saving lamps. First, companies are pursuing profits, intentionally high-standard power, or assembling components with low-quality and inferior components. Second, the key components used by enterprises for energy-saving lamps, such as electronic components, lamp holders, and lamps, are purchased out of the market. Quality is not effectively guaranteed; third, the company's requirements for electromagnetic compatibility, lack of corresponding technical support capabilities; Fourth, the company lacks the relevant technical capabilities for product production; Fifth, energy-saving lamp products are not national compulsory certification products, market access threshold Low, making the current domestic market energy-saving lamp production enterprises mixed.

Buy energy-saving lamps do not be cheap

City Consumers Association reminded, do not try to buy cheaper products at relatively low prices, so as not to purchase inferior energy-saving lamp products. Consumers should pay attention to the selection of energy-saving lamps: high-quality energy-saving lamps smooth appearance, fine workmanship, no bubbles, the phosphor coating in the lamp should be delicate, no particles, uniform white, after the power lamp is lit, the lamp should be Uniform, no dark spots, no flicker.
