First anniversary of the launch of Seoul Semiconductor Acriche Lighting Technology

Seoul Semiconductor (Solar Semiconductor Co., Ltd.), a manufacturer of light-emitting diode (LED) environmentally friendly lighting technology, celebrated its first anniversary of its main product, Acriche, and launched a six-fold discount from now until the end of the year to reward its customers for the past year. Support for "Acriche". Seoul Semiconductor also plans a series of celebrations to accelerate the pace of "Acriche" business development.

"Acriche" was first introduced to the market in November 2006. It is a semiconductor lighting technology that can be directly applied to home and office AC electrical plugs (100-110 volts / 220-230 volts) without the need for a converter. "Acriche" is a patented lighting product of Seoul Semiconductor, which is different from LED products generally used in DC. "Acriche"'s environmentally friendly lighting technology was selected as the "Best Product of 2006" by the European electronic magazine "Elektronik".

Since its launch in November 2006, Acriche has been used worldwide. To date, about 340 “Acriche” street lights have been used to illuminate Korean coastal roads; street lighting in parts of Europe has also been driven by “Acriche” products. Applying Acriche's innovative technology to general lighting, such as light bulbs, tabletop lights, etc., has also brought many changes to the lighting market.

With the increasing demand for Acriche lighting technology, Seoul Semiconductor is using this as a cornerstone and plans to extend Acriche's applications to architectural lighting, advertising light box lighting and general residential lighting.

Seoul Semiconductor recently introduced the latest "Acriche" module lighting technology with brightness up to 200 lumens. The new "Acriche" module is sold in a single emitter mode, eliminating the need for a printed circuit board heatsink (PCB), expanding the range of Acriche applications and improving printed circuit boards and array emitters. Design flexibility. In addition, the new "Acriche" module with improved technology can also be used in a four watt high watt condition. Seoul Semiconductor is now planning to increase the current brightness of Acriche 60 lumens per watt to 80 lumens per watt in the fourth quarter of 2007, with 250 lumens per module and 120 lumens per watt and 400 lumens by the end of 2008.
